You can run away from rancors but you can't hide from glitches.
Let's stop stalling and get to the facts. First of all this game would work very smoothly only is the force is strong in your computer. Your computer must exceed the minimum requirements and be close to the recommend requirements as close as you can because if it isn't, It may take at least 10 seconds to do a lightsaber swing. And those requirements are tougher than Vader's training. See for yourself. So hopefully your computer has what it takes to handle this game.
The story and gameplay is very good. But I won't tell anything about the story in order not to spoil anything. You have 4 campaigns; the original story and bonus Jedi Temple, Tantooine and Hoth campaigns. So you don't have to wait till you finish the game to taste the bonus stuff. You would experience the Ultimate Force power and how it feel when lightning goes through your fingertips, and the power of the lightsaber. Enemies are also varied; from a little Jawa to a giant and vicious Rancor. And have boss battles with famous characters in Star Wars universe such as Shaak ti, Darth Vader, and the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett (In non-cannon mission only) You would also see some new faces such as Kota, Juno Eclipse. You could go through many Star Wars locations such as forest planet Kashyyk, in the dreaded Death Star, on the sands of Tantooine or the ice cube known as Hoth. Of cause this game is converted from the record-broken fantastic game original The Force Unleashed so nothing may go wrong in PC right? WRONG! This passage only told about the common pros about the game. PC port is much different even after you have a SUPER computer.
Unfortunately either Aspyr was bad at converting game to PC, or Lucasart forced Aspyr to make it quick or PC doesn't get the respect as it used to do. Because console version game may be great but PC version is full of glitches and crashes! One problem is sound problems. Sometimes they don't work correctly in cutscenes and it repeat the same sentence so you have to keep your subtitle option on. And it is full of crashes. You may never able to go through one point how many times you try because of the crashes. It happens at least in 3 out of 4 campaigns. The 2 patches they released couldn't help you at this point either. The only thing they do is take another 14GB off your hard disk. In other words, as Emperor foreseen, your journey would end which leads your anger toward this game.
In conclusion this game is an amazing game but was torn apart because of its glitches and crashes. There are ways to get rid of crashes. That's how I completed the game. (I won't tell how as this is a review. Use you mind and find the way yourself) But you will still suffer from other glitches. So make your choice. Would like take your chance? Do you want to buy a copy and try out this game? Or you can take this review as a warning and not waste your money by taking such a risk. I'm not going to force you not to buy this game. But if you choose to face this game and suffer its merciless errors and ruin your fun and money, don't tell me I didn't warn you.
