Shadows Of The Empire is an amazing game, but sadly it does not get enough recognition. I remember playing it when I was a little kid back in the 90's (oh how I miss the 90's). I recall my brother and I and our very best friend sitting in the living room, all nice and cozy, playing the first level, you know, the one where the snow monsters are kept in cages, and screaming like little girls when we would let the snow monsters loose. We had so much fun playing this game, and to be honest it's just as much fun today as it was back then. I know that the gameplay isn't outstanding, in fact some could say that it's poor, but where's the love for the classics. truth be told there are a good amount of things that make this game stand out, like the levels Escape From Echo Base (fight your way thru an icy crumbling underground base), Ord Mantell Junkyard (one long epic train ride you'll never forget), that Swoop Bike level (chase the Swoop Gang and stop them before they get to, and kill, the unaware Luke Skywalker), and one of my most beloved levels ever, Gall Space Port (journey alongside a huge open canyon, soar the sky's with a jet pack , then come face to face with the deadliest bounty hunter of them all ...Boba Fett. Not to mention, using the jet pack to fly around a huge canyon is pretty cool). Overall I guess I'll just say that despite some of its technical problems, Shadows Of The Empire is still an outstanding game, and it absolutely serves justice to the Star Wars universe (did I mention that it has an outstanding story and score). To end this review on a personal note I guess I'll just say this, I love and will always love Shadows Of The Empire, it will hold a special place in my heart... forever and ever.

It doesn't look like much here, but just wait till you see this game in action.
