Possibly my favorite game of all time, and certainly one of the best Star Wars games.

How to describe Jedi Outcast....... hmm............ well, I'll do my best.
Jedi Outcast is one of the best Star Wars games ever created. And no, I'm not being one of those fan boys who incessantly insist these things. Jedi Outcast, despite its older graphics, is a truly remarkable game. It greatly expands upon Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, and is far superior to its sequel, Jedi Academy. Its story sucks you in from the very beginning, and you become immersed in this fantastic, dark, and utterly awesome Star Wars story. As Kyle Katarn, you will carry out mercenary missions for the Republic. As you do so, you uncover a sinister plot concerning the Imperial Remnant and the sith. As Kyle, you will combine mercenary with Jedi, and become a powerful warrior indeed.
For the first few levels of JO, you will be in a first-person shooter environment, blasting away at Stormies as a weak little grunt. All of the first missions are intensely satisfying, and you don't feel overpowered. As you progress, you'll eventually gain a lightsaber, and force powers to aid you in your travels. The story, (which should take you several hours to complete,) is very satisfying, and due to how much fun it is, you'll want to replay it. But even after the single player mode, multiplayer is just as much fun. With 7 modes to choose from, you will be kept busy for quite a while. You have your standard Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch variants, as well at Capture the Flag. Apart from that, you also have Capture the Ysalimari, a CTF style game where you capture a lizard, which makes it so you can't use force powers, which changes up the difficulty. Then there's duel, a one-on-one fight, Holocron FFA, a deathmatch mode where you compete to find Holocrons which give you force powers, and Jedi Master mode, one of my favorites. In Jedi Master, a lightsaber is placed in the arena. The players compete to get it, and once someone has it, they are against everyone else. They get every force power at full rank, and a lightsaber. Every other player has a blaster. The game has plenty of maps and characters, and with the inclusion of mods, players can enhance the experience.
All in all, anyone who owns a pc and likes Star Wars should play Jedi Outcast.
