Don't look at this game's dark side

User Rating: 8.5 | Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith PS2
There are a lot of big games in the Star Wars franchise, like Battlefront II. However, this is also a decently good game. Granted, it might have a couple of problems, and it's kind of hard for those unexperienced Star Wars rookies, but it should entertain both fans and non-fans.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was directed by series creator George Lucas and released in 2005, closing out the prequel trilogy that began in 1999 with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. In the movie, fans of the series find out how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader. This relates to the game too as you play throughout the events of the movie, with some additional levels.

In the game, you play as either Anakin or Obi-Wan Kenobi for the main game. You start at the Battle of Coruscant and end up in Mustafar for the Final Fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan. While this mode is fine, it would've been cool to see some more playable characters like Yoda or the Emperor. The only additional people you can play as come in the multiplayer mode, which uses the lightsaber dueling gameplay.

Overall, my main complaints for this game focus on the difficulty. I haven't played a lot of Star Wars games, so I hoped for some leeway for rookies. The main part of the game where you explore the vast areas of the universe is okay, but the lightsaber fights are kind of hard. I had to use an invinciblity code to defeat Count Dooku. Also, there weren't any bonus levels besides the extra level at the end of the game. It would've been cool to play some levels from the original trilogy, like when the fight at the beginning of Episode IV.

But, like other Star Wars games, it is what you expect.
