User Rating: 7.6 | Star Wars: Bounty Hunter PS2
Out of all the Star Wars games that have come to be developed due to the prequels; this has to be the one game that you’ll like just to blast stuff away. In Star Wars Bounty Hunter you play as Jango Fett, a bounty hunter killing anything that gets in the way of you collecting your bounty. The story line isn’t too bad and the weapons at your disposal are very high tech. And the story line is more than likely the best thing about this game. One flaw, the way the button configuration isn’t very user friendly. As a matter of fact I had some trouble marking and claiming a bounty from the get go. You have to go into one of your gadgets that can tell if a certain person has a bounty on there head and if they do you can the hit a button to mark the bounty then you could either kill the suspect or tie them up and claim the bounty by hitting a different button. Just the process was long and annoying. The only reason why it was annoying was because while I’m trying to get to the gadget that determines if the person has a bounty I’m getting pummeled by massive laser blasts. You can’t fire your weapon while using the bounty marker and your field of vision is very limited. The actual Game play isn’t too bad. You can go through a level blasting away foes with your duel blaster pistols or you could try and sneak around looking for bounties. I wasn’t too impressed with the graphics; although a they were a step above Obi Wan(Xbox). When playing the game I never had a problem with the game bogging down, even at points when multiple enemies on the attack. Basically to rap it up in a short note; you’ll have fun blasting away and don’t worry too much about the bounties.
