For me, the best part about Star Ruler: Till The End of Time is the story and characters.

About halfway through the game, I started saying to myself "Boldly going where no game has gone before" (In regards to the story) I know the Game spot review says quite the opposite, but I've never seen a story premise quite like this. Not many games give me a "Holy S***" moment, where I'm left stunned and wowed, but this game managed to do it.

Sadly, the last few levels of the game turned into a monotonous grind to reach the final boss, who turned out to be too tough to beat without going back and grinding some more levels, so I watched the ending of the game on YouTube. Was still a very worthwhile experience, however. This is one of those game as where I played it for 100 hours and will think about it afterward for 1000.

(Would have like to be able to turn down the difficulty for the more annoying "Kill your entire party in 1 or 2 hits" bosses.)
