An Amazing Game Gets Even More Amazing! 8)

On Gamespot, there haven't been a lot of upcoming games that I wanted to follow/know the updates to. This game was one of two exceptions to my usual practice, and for very good reason! :!: Ask a lot of people, and they'll say that "Star Fox 64" is an excellent game released on an awesome console in the year of 1997! :D I was certainly one of those people who felt that way, and when I found out that "Star Fox 64" was going to get a 3DS remake just like "Ocarina of Time," I knew this was one game that I wanted to keep up to date on! :) And when I finally got my Nintendo 3DS in June of 2013, "Star Fox 64 3D" was one of the games that I wanted to own the physical copy of, play it, beat it, and enjoy it, and now I can honestly say that I have accomplished what I have wanted to do! The game has benefited greatly from the leap from the polygonal N64 to the fully rendered 3DS. Character icons, spacecraft, and locations have gone from being mildly detailed, to intricately detailed pieces of art that pop up to life; especially in full 3-D mode! The story is the same as it was on the N64, but with the game already being as great as it is, there wasn't any need to tinker with the formula! The sound effects, music, and vocal acting sound better than ever on the 3DS, and the controls are superb on the N64 mode of control! In addition to the return of Battle Mode and Expert Mode, there's now a new challenge for seasoned players with Score Attack, where players can attempt to play any stage on either Normal or Expert Mode (after they've beaten it, of course) with the goal being to earn a medal, either in Bronze, Silver, or Gold, with each medal level being harder to achieve as there are more enemies that are required to be shot down with each progressive medal level! This game is one of the best for the Nintendo 3DS, and I hope that the next "Star Fox" offering for the Nintendo 3DS manages to bring just as much, if not more, to the table than this game! :O I highly recommend playing it and enjoying it as I have! ;) Enough said, true believers! ;)
