This game truly follows up in its predecessors. It is truly a game to behold. The basic formula has always been: combos = speed= more tricks = more speed. This really works to it’s own advantage. One thing that has always been an issue is the problem of the World Circuit mode. It has always been in various locations across the globe. Now it is set in a more “alternate” universe, and instead of various tracks you have one HUGE mountain. What makes it even more amazing is the sheer feeling of actually being on top of a really big mountain. One complaint is that more times than not, you think that your taking a short-cut, but its really out-of-bounds. You ask yourself, why did they do that? The snow effects have been seriously bumped up (character models too) and the mountain in its entirety is a sight to behold. The music…well lets just say it’s a great set of songs, where you can create your own play list. One question is why didn’t they include a custom play list feature… Bottom line: If you like snowboarding games, or any extreme sports games buy it.
