Spot: The Video Game is not a bad game it just gets boring fast. It is a puzzle game that kind of resembles checkers, but definitely isn't. You start off with a board that looks like a checkerboard, and you have two checkers (I think they are supposed to be spots, but I don't have the instructions), one in each of two corners, and the same for your opponent. You select a space to move to, and either your checker will double if you move to a space next to the spot, or it will move to the space you specified. If you move to a space next to your opponents checker, you claim that checker and any around it, and they turn your color. You score points equal to the number of checkers you have on the board, but they can go down if your opponent claims your checkers. There seems to be some other rules, but I haven't figured them out yet.
In all this is a good game, but the thing that drives me nuts is that when you move your checker to another spot, there is an animation of the 7-UP spot going there. It was cool the first time, but later on it just got to be a waste of time. Other than that, it is a pretty straightforward game. There are a few other options on the main menu, such as custom boards where you decide which tiles remain or become unusable. There is also some things that look like TV's and show different commercials if you select them. They don't expand or anything, they just switch commercials. I haven't figured out what that's about yet.
