At first there are only some characters and outfits to choose from. But as players play more, such as by themselves, especially in the Champion's Cup, they earn stars which can be used to purchase various items. Players playing with others can play for bragging rights and what not in multi-player.
The controls in Sports Champions can either be easy to use or frustrating, which really depends on the player's physical movements. Trying to get used to the controls can be a bit tricky at first but with practice, it gets easier. Once players get the control basics, Sports Champions is a blast to play with a music score tha suits whatever game they're playing.
While a fun game to play, Sports Champions has a limited selection of sporting events to choose from with just six events.
Overall, I mainly recommend this game to players who either enjoy playing with others or players who enjoy fun sport games that provide exercise. Sports Champions is somewhat easier with two motion controllers as opposed to one. But players can do well with just one motion controller too.
