An excellent attempt to a Spongebob Multiplayer Game. Incorporates good elements that Spongebob fans will easily love.

One word that means so much to Spongebob fans. After all the abysmal outings for Spongebob, it's about time he got the praise he deserves - allong with all the other characters. Spongebob fans MUST add this to their collection. You will not survive without this game. A definite fun game designed for 4 Players and great for when you have firends over. However, the word excellent implies that this game is not perfect.

First of all, there are quite a number of 2 VS 2 games but sometimes, they can get somewhat annoying. If 1 VS 3 Mini-Games were incorporated, Spongebob fans would love the auditions even more.

Which brings me to my next point, the auditions that were created for this game lack originality, but, on the other hand, most are allusions to Spongebob quotes, and lines form other episodes and even previous Spongebob Squarepants episodes.

The environments and cameo appearances are greatly loveable for Spongebob fans.

The game is not too easy and not impossibly hard. The game has been tailored to beginners and experts which makes the game that more enjoyable.

The fun factor for this game and replay values I'd give close to, if not, top marks for. Most of the games will never annoy you and they all have their own degreee of fun whereas some are just lame. But, I digress.

The sound for the game is similar to that in the Spongebob episodes which make the game more enjoyable especially for Spongebob fans. Some of the sound for some of the auditions is, admittably, annoying but most of it is kinda catchy (including the Theme Song / Intro Music of the game).

As far as unlockables go, there's quite a bit to unlock. I have yet to discover if there is more to unlock than just Action Figures, Artwork, and Movies. However, the ability to unlock auditions is a nice touch. If you can unlock more characters than the 6 Original, this game would be so much more enjoyable.

With a final word, I can justifiably say that THQ did a good job at this and I hope there are more Spongebob games like this in the future. If a sequel is ever made, hopefully there will be more auditions and maybe even a whole new type of gameplay (not just auditioning for movie roles; more like Mario Party).
