In the past there have been many Spiderman Games on Playstation,gameboy color, and gameboy. This game is Spidermans big debut on the big consoles.And he shows us that he delivers a pretty good game. This game is based on the Spiderman Movie. Which was a average movie of its type. Ofcourse there are tons of addded stuff that arent in the movie to make this game interesting. You have villains such as Vulture,Scorpion,Shocker, and Ofcourse the ultimate baddy Green Goblin.
The boss battles arent that impressive. The Bosses are pretty repetitive in attacks. The only villians that deliver a good challenege and a wide variety of attacks are Scorpion and Goblin.
The gameplay is actually pretty similar to the old ones. When you Web swing your webs connect to air......There are occasional Chase scenes in order to get to a boss. You cant touch the floor of the city....which is LAME. its technically just an upgrade for people who have played the old games
One New thing, infact one GREAT thing that the old ones didnt have that this one did is a huge combo system. There are over 30 combos which is impressive for a Spider-Man game. Glitches sometimes occurr which is annoying as hell.The game can be a little to fustrating on hard difficulties, but its still fun.The story line is a bitt off from the movie but who gives a crap its kooler!
This Spider-man game probably has the best unlockables yet. If you defeat the game on the hardest difficulty you can play and fly around as the Green Golbin himself. Now thats impressive.But.....your common weopon is the Pumpkin Bomb and each bomb takes about a quarter of your Blue bar...so only 4 bombs...then you have to wait a while is pretty Lame.
This is a great game for fans. Its worth your time.
