This game emotionally crippled me.

I was a huge Spawn fan growing up and I remember seeing advertisements for this game and I almost cried for joy that finally! I'd be able to play a Spawn game in 3d on my favorite game console! I begged to get this game! My parents almost wouldn't let me have it because it seemed too violent. Knowing I was a huge Spawn fan at the time was no stranger to horror or violence in video games, I finally convinced my mother to get it for me for my 10th birthday. It was a nightmare of epic proportions that has since left me cringing at the through of it.

This game let me down in so many ways, I've since blocked out any memory of it. It had almost no story, didn't have any character and there was almost no purpose to the combat. It's kind of like Grand Theft Auto only you don't get to do any flashy tricks, you get 1-2 attacks and the controls and overall feel of the game made you want to vomit. You basically punch and kick your way through ghetto suburbs and get lost in the horribly designed levels traversing through this miserable game that SCEA had somehow digested. Not even the hardcore Spawn fans, such as myself growing up, could stomach how awful this game was.

Don't waste your money or time on this game ever--that's the valuable lesson I've learned from this game at least.
