I think it's okay, but I wish they would've done more with this game.

I finally get to play Soul Calibur Broken Destiny since last month of May this year. And I was kinda impressed with this game, but not quite. Anyway, I'm here to explain my opinions about this game.

The gameplay and the graphics are pretty good. Even the controls and the music. So that's pretty much the good part about this game.

About Quick Match. What I like about it is that you can select your opponent to fight against. In also depend your opponent's rank because some of them will have easy or harder ai. I think it would been better if I can see the actual opponent's names, but it don't matter because I know certain opponents are.

Now Trials, I don't have that much to say about it, but it had three modes like Trials of Attack, Trials of Defense, and Endless Trials which basically a survival. Overall, I though it was pretty good, but hey, it challenging.

Now one of the few flaws that I didn't like about the game is the fact it doesn't have that much game modes. To be honest, I expect the game would had more modes. I mean even though Soul Calibur IV barely had some, but it still an awesome game.

Okay. The worst mode I've ever played is the Gauntlet mode. It is so repetitive because it drains out way too freaking long and you do the same conditions over and over. After a while, I got sick of it and got a game save. I'm sorry. I just got sick of it. Not to mention I don't care about the comical dialogues because its not very laughable. Now I see why a lot of people didn't like this game mode, but me either. Anyway, I'll give this mode a thumbs down.

What also lacks this game is the option menu. First of all, there's no settings to adjust the difficulty, rounds, and the timer. I had never heard of a fighting game that doesn't have a fighting settings. Which was a shame. It wouldn't be as challenging without it. So I really cannot believe they left it out.

Last not but least is the Creation. Creation is pretty much the same, but only thing it sucks about it is that you couldn't adjust colors in some equipments parts. Physiques and muscularity cannot be edited which really sucks. Only part I like is the photo editing. Either way, the Creation felt kinda downgraded imo.

You know, this game really does deserve an 7.5. To me, I'm giving it an 7.0 instead. Overall, I find out that this game is basically a humor version of Soul Calibur IV. So Broken Destiny is basically a spin-off game as well. Although it does felt half-finished. I wish it would've have more game modes.

So that's my review on this game.
