Anne Rice's "Lestat" is no match for Kain.

Anne Rice is one of the most popular authors. She made Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat and countless other books. This time, Eidos Interactive takes the vampire genre and conquered it with the Legacy of Kain series. From Blood Omen to Soul Reaver, this game here is a good game for fans of the vile Kain. Raziel is still on his quest for revenge on Kain, who has gone into time and now, Raziel is faced with many enemies, including demons and vampire hunters. The only thing that hurt thsi game is the combat, which isn't that good, but with the all-mighty Soul Reaver as his weapon, you will be able to rip through any enemy easily. The graphics are simply amazing and the voice acting is fantastic. With a storyline deeper than Halo's and much darker, these vampires are indeed better than Louis or Lestat.
