soul blade is really the first of the soul calibur series despite the name
i got this game because i was interested to see what started it all.
the graphics are fantastic for its time and good enough to see whats going on.
gameplay is no different than its sequels and the music is somewhat just over average.
there is not many characters to choose in the game and the characters speak in their nationalitys this time instead of all speaking in english.
the game has the long term fighters taki, voldo and sophitia and also a young looking mitsiguri.
they are still the same age they are in the other games( they dont age for some reason).
it is slightly slower than its sequels but only slightly.
soul blade is definetely tied with tekken 2 for me while soul blade has quicker gameplay, tekken 2 has the music.
