Sonic Mega Collection on GameCube is a cool package filled with the classic games from the 90s, especially the 1st game.
One day i felt like starting to play Sonic for the first time and got this game and why not better off start with the original "Sonic the Hedgehog'' while working my way to rest of the collection.
Game play:
The first game's game play and levels was very fun, challenging and had a great personality.
Second game was as fun and challenging as the first as well as being a great co-op game.
Third game was fun, but probably more challenging than the first two.
Sonic and Knuckles was a fun and a nice co-op game like the second game in the series.
Sonic 3D Blast was confusing and not much of a good personality design in the levels, but still a decent game.
Sonic Spin-ball was an improvement over the previous game and better personality in the level design like Sonic games 1-4.
Dr. Robot-nick's Mean Bean Machine was another downfall, especially for not having anything to do with Sonic and when it comes to ripping off Tet-ris but the game play was decent fun though.
Graphics:
Game-Cube graphics look nicely updated from the original Sega Genesis graphics. Sonic the Hedgehog looks great, as well as Tails, Knuckles and Robot-nick. Level layout and design on each game gives it a great personality with the exception of Sonic 3D blast and Dr. Robot-nick's Mean Bean Machine game.
Music and Sound:
Music on the first game's Green-hill Zone was addictive and peppy. The rest of games music on the collection was peppy as well.
Controls:
Joystick for moving. A, B and X are all for jumping through Sonic 1-6.

Sonic the Hedgehog (19-91): 9.0/10.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (19-92): 9.2/10.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (19-94): 8.9/10.
Sonic and Knuckles (19-94): 9.3/10.
Sonic 3D Blast (19-96): 6.0/10.
Sonic Spin-ball (19-93): 7.2/10.
Dr. Robot-nick's Mean Bean Machine (19-93): 5.9/10.
A nice collection package for the Nintendo Game-Cube with nice visual updates on each game. 8.0 out of 10.
