The best Sonic game for the Wii so far.

Sonic and The Secret Rings is the first Sonic storybook game for the Wii. While still a good game, there are some errors that need to be fixed. This being Sonic's first Wii title I'll be a little forgiving. Over all the gameplay is good and feels like a true Sonic the Hedgehog game, but there are some bugs that could have been corrected. First off is when you are going in reverse. You don't even see where you are going. There is also no way to adjust the camera either. Second is the back-jump, because I just can't get it to work for me. Maybe I'm not doing something right, but it just annoys me. Another thing that isn't necessarily a problem is the controls. Due to having to tilt the Wii remote forward to run it can get a little unresponsive. Never the less, I do think the gameplay and different worlds are very good. The story generally is fairly decent, however I'm not a fan of the storybook series idea. What I mean by that is I disagree with sticking Sonic in a classic story and morphing his pals into characters from those tales. An example being Tails as Ali Baba. The other thing that grinds my gears is the lame 2-D cutscenes. Is Sega so lazy they can't make full 3-D cinematics. Seriously, it's the 21st century people! With all its problems put to the side, Sonic and the Secret Rings is a good game and is the best Sonic game Sega has made since the original.
