Sometimes spin offs are not worth checking out, in this case there is no reason to or not to.

You would think that SEGA would be carefull of who would get the license to use there mascot... well as most of us know just about any attrocious piece of tat can be beared within sonics name. A game like this appears to be the first to show that about annything could get the license, which is dissapointing even when SEGA was starting to loose out to Nintendo and Sony.

The first thing you'll notice while playing the game is that it isn't actually 3D, a very missleading title I must however the graphics are a mix of good old sonic colour/color and unfortunately gameboy advance stile try hard graphics full of pixels to look well done.

The music has dropped down a notch remaing good but not great and dare I say it, rather chavy. Controlling the game as long as you switch the controls to match the 2D Sonic games is quite easy but very slippy, sonic goes a lot further than you intended and when you attempt to stomp on an ememy you may find its still considered the enemy attacked you!

Another bitter dissapointment is the shear lack of levels, you just can't get away with the most basic of basic when you're making a spin off title it just fails to impress. None the less the game is actually quite fun in circumsatnces... normally when you're bored!

All in all if you're a sonic fan and find the game in a bargin bin you may wiah to pick it up, yes its rubbish at first but get used to it theres fun to be had. If you don't know if you like sonic or not or just don't really care this game is trully disasterous.
