Lets put it this way. Go to XBOX Live and see how many people are playing online. If it wasn't fun they wouldn't be playing. Single player mode is uneventful but single player SOCOM isn't all that entertaining either. Online is where it's at! The graphics are nothing special but better then Wolfenstein. The Goul 2 system is nice and the weapon models are right on. Keep in mind that I compared the graghics to a TV with and without component video cables and believe me, it makes a difference. I enjoy the map layouts more then SOCOM. They are a good balance between "run n gun" and s****ing. There are so many paths to take and options for attack. Rarely will a player find himself shooting it out in the same spot. I think it's a great balance between Ghost Recon and Wolfenstein. It's not as tedious as Ghost Recon (crawling everywhere and s****ing) and as campy as Wolfenstein (run around blazing guns with reckless abandon). Also I have had way more lag issues with Wolfenstein than with SOF2. Actually, it is rarely an issue. There is a great selection of weapons that cater to every type of player. The only bad equipment is the night vision goggles and the thermal goggles. They are pretty useless. Selecting armor is a better choice...even in low light. For what it's worth, SOF2 is a fun game to play online. Don't expect mindblowing graphics or sound (get component video). It has plenty of modes but not many host options. Think of it as Ghost Recon light with some Bond mixed in. The best part is, no one is cheating....yet
