Excellent game...this will take the #1 spot for all games on the PSP. If it doesn't, then it should. Graphics are outstanding, better than the first SOCOM. They definitely made te gameplay more difficult and requires you to take stealth, the environment, etc. into account. You can't run-and-gun anymore. Lots of new add-ins like: health packs, body armor, rubber grenades, cool new guns, air strikes, etc. You can't hold down the auto-aim button anymore, not without slowing your speed down. Nice touch to make it more difficult. It has a game-sharing demo within the game too.
Now for multiplayer: perfect 10: same great online speed; same great playability. I picked up Medal of Honor 2 weeks ago, and although fun, the online play is just too slow, sluggish, and twitchy. New maps and game types, and yes, still has captive option. Many of the maps are huge for a PSP game. the radar also allows you to see downed teammates, and you can briefly see your opponents via gunfire(also within single player).
This game should have replayability for at least 6 months or so. Worth all $40.
