I miss Jester...

User Rating: 4 | SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs PS3
(SINGLE PLAYER ONLY) The franchise we knew and loved got traded for a bubble gum & popcorn show that equals carbon copies of games we played before. First off...where are the NAVY SEALS? I posted a comment about blue helmets (THE U.N.) and it was erased. This version of the game is politically correct and I'm surprised there's not a don't ask don't tell character who works the intel side. ZIPPER went with the MOVE friendly version and went off track from the basics. Control your team with the headset...gone. Regaining health with time takes away from the original. When you die it resembles Drakes Fortune's fade to Black & White. The AI have new I-Phones with a VERIZON tower nearby because they are always on the phone and swinging their arms. Terrorists are not good enough to kill anymore so who are the bad guys? PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTORS...very original and Liberal as Bernie Frank & Alan Combs. Remember when we received a single mission DEMO disc before SOCOM 1 came out. The excitement from those days are gone, it was sold out. I was hoping this game was going to be as tough as a $2 steak, but it's worse. Why add stealth missions at night with a character you don't care about? The senseless Jibber Jabber of the character adds nothing to the game. MAKE AN High Definition VERSION OF SOCOM 1 & 2. This would be a formula to make the fans happy and not whine. Have the LAN option is case the network goes out. ZIPPER you ripped us off...& we won't forget what you did to us. When I get home from Iraq I'll try the multi player...I hope it does not resemble Call Of Duty, but by this point who cares Zipper didn't.
