It rivals Virtua Tennis 2 definitely.

This was the first tennis game I got for the PS2 and it is thoroughly enjoyable. I think it is level Par with Virtua and the fact you can have men v woman matches to make it one of the greatest tennis games ever made for console. I never bought the first one but my mate did and said it wasnt as good when he played this one with me. Definitely worth the money. I am not even a tennis fan and I enjoyed this. So go ahead buy this game and have fun with friends and family! True class from Namco and being able to unlock Heihachi and Xioyau from Tekken is another bonus. I wish they put others in there to like Jin, Hwoarang and Nina etc. Well bottom line is this game is class tennis. Go and buy it now! Trust me you wont dislike it!
