I have played this game for about 5 hours straight since I got it yesterday... The only issue I have is the fact that 2 hours have been on the same Challenge... Some of the own the lot challenges are unnecessarily difficult and can be frustrating, but luckily, this game is executed well enough to make you want to keep trying until you succeed. The silence of my character is getting a little stale. You can only have one upper body tat. Why would having a tat on my chest negate me wanting to put one on my arm is a little crazy. The character creation is still flat. They could have and should have done better this year. The off-board controlling of your character is much smoother this year. I like the progression method in this game. The opening sequence is very interesting. Watching how a tree becomes a skateboard is pretty facinating. This year, the injuries don't seem to have the impact that they did in last years game... It seems to forced and unrealistic now. I actually strived to break bones in last years game to see the skeleton come up, now its intergrated into the game too much now... They overkilled it... It should have been an aspect of the game that remained low key yet impactful, now its just overkill. I appreciate the difficulty levels. The hardest level is like skating for real. Sure it makes the game less accessible as far as tricks and such, but its certainly adds a new dynamic. Overall, its a good game and a worthy sequel for all its worth. They did what they should have done to the formula. They changed it enough but not too much where it would have hurt the game. They did the whole team part to accomodate the fact that you couldn't make mulitple players in the previous 2 games. Now you make 3 teammates and use them in freeskate without having to alter your first player.
