However there are small bugs still present in the game that can make things frustrating but these do not prevent you from having a good time. Most bugs appear very late game. For example some of my mass transit systems have failed to work properly, they tend to get backed up or have weird pathing issues. Sometimes the game takes a long time loading a region, it usually only takes a few seconds. I also have had a hard time sending gifts to cities nearby.
Compared to the last game which ran well until you had very large towns, unless you had some serious power, I think this game is better. Now that the servers are up it is clear to me that the gameplay is more dynamic and interesting. City specializations give the cities a much needed boost because in the last game it felt like every city for the most part was the same.
Overall I think the game is better than the last and hopefully the bugs get patched soon.
