Could have been so sweet

At first glance it feels and looks like one of the coolest game concepts, you control a leader ant, and your goal is build a thriving colony of worker, digging and warriors ants, to defend your hive from dangers ranging from enemy ants, lawnmowers and vicious spiders, sounds sweet huh?

The gameplay is fair enough, or good actually for being a snes game. You control your own ant, and can choose to be a worker or warrior(it doesn`t matter, unless you are going to war) Your objective is to manage the hive, and that means building tunnels so new ants can be born, search for food and fill up the hives storages, and finally defend you hive from attacking rival ants..and of course kill the enemy queen and conquer the land as your own

The game is sweet enough, and it is terrible to say that it is sadly enough aspects of the game that makes it "un-playable", that i now will list up

The game starts with you being told that your mission is to conquer a back yard, and chase the rival red ants from the land and lastly take over a house and chase away humans. So, anyways the game starts off and you control your leader ant around and all is well, collecting food for the newly born grubs, and digging sweet tunnels underground being all fuzzy and cute...and before you know it, you got your very own ant army and its time to say that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!!! hehe...so when you have hopefully successfully liquidated the red queen,(if you havent already)you will now turn your attention to the overhead backyard screen, that you are trying to conquer. Here you will see squared patches, that are black, which are yours, red are the enemys and green are un-conquered.So with victory in your mind you set out to invade, only to find out that the red squares are so totally infested with red ants, you can not possibly hope to be succesful...if you think to your self, hmm.. a challenge ey!! Thats cool enough, but keep in mind that there are A-LOT of patches to conquer and it will probably take you days to even get close to winning...the game has a autoplay function so that your ants will build and conquer for them selves, but its not cool to watch is it?

Finally, the game is well made, but even so it will quickly get tedious and horribly repetitive, but anyways you could enjoy the game , but as i have written,it is not flawless..and i feel it to be kind of sad because it could have been so cool
So if you want to play it anyway, im sure you wont be as dissapointed as i was, but i just to want to say that the game looks kind of confusing at first glance, but its not really after you work out the kinks
