THE HORROR MADE GAME
The place in which the atmosphere is mysterious, scary and unpredictable. The reason why every supernatural phenomenon occurs, it must be unraveled.
At first, Harry Mason believes actually going crazy, but in talking with others, he discovers that not only he who lives these events, everyone knows what happens there, so Harry concludes that Silent Hill is cursed since ancient times. The town's history is marked diabolical rituals and other rituals inappropriate.
The story begins when Harry's daughter mysteriously disappears after a freak accident, and the adventure begins with the strong desire of the father to find his young daughter. In this way the main character is forced to go through the town of Silent Hill, and discover its hidden mysteries, while trying to survive the onslaught of horrific and bizarre creatures.
The plot of the game is exciting because it keeps the player pending the game all the time, moreover, perfectly combines action and puzzles to be solved to allow us to move forward.
Silent Hill is not a short game, but it is too long. What really takes the player is the monotony of some places where, for example, is looking for a room and not remember where it is, and this is compounded when we sink to the "other world", because in that situation do not have of any map. Another thing that takes the player are the puzzles and to solve some takes time.
The soundtrack is excellent, consisting of a creepy music that introduces us to the game.
As for the graphics quality is not great, but has a good quality animated textures and an acceptable, if somewhat repetitive.
Some downside may be the gameplay, which is complicated and monotonous, and the scarcity of resources is added to that.
In conclusion, Konami started the survival horror in a successful manner, using the basis of psychological terror, and recreating scenes really scary and dark, and thereby add to the competition with the Resident Evil saga, although the RE is a bit superior.
Definitely a game worth playing and remembering, as every detail of the game makes it even more terrifying.
