silent hill shattered memories is a worthwhile and interesting expeience despite it's significant flaws.

When I heard there was new silent hill title comin to the wii i was very intrigued. Unlike many i liked and looked forward to the new ideas climax was bringing to the seemingly dieing series. after playing the game i can honestly say that silent hill is a breath of fresh air despite some significant flaws. a big general is that the game very short. while i agree with this observation i dont find it to be a huge flaw due to the fact that the game has great replay value and if it had been much longer it probably would have gotten extremely boring. As the game progressed i did find it began to become repetitive and predictibe. Fortuately however the game ended soon enough with an ending that both shocked and amazed me. The story in shattered memories was brilliantly executed and well paced. I wish i could say the same for the nightmare segments. Although these seqences arent all bad they do manage to be annoying and frustrating often. The fact that there's only one type of enemy and that they eventualy become more annoying than scary is a major dissapointment. On the bright side however these chase scenes do manage to scare you and make you anxious every once in a while. Probably my biggest complaint about this game would be the sometimes frustrating motion controls. For example interacting with objects and trying to get monsters off u is a constant struggle. However the games amazing atmosphere, graphics and audio quality more than makes up for these significant problems. Lastly to sum up my review of this game, ill simply state that silent hill shattered memories is an xtremely gutsy game that manages to impress and inspire dispite its flaws
