This has to be the best Silent Hill in the series.
The story is obviously a follow-up of the events in the first Silent Hill game. It follows Harry Mason's new daughter, Heather. Heather is a seventeen year old girl who is in a shopping mall on the phone to her father. A new character appears by the name of Douglas who is a detective who strangely was talking to Heather about her birth. She meets Claudia who believes that the new God will give them salvation.
The gameplay is still the same as the old Silent Hill on the PlayStation - you still use R2 to hold a weapon up. Why I thought the gameplay was better was that the replay value is very high, meaning there is plenty to do - beating the game with rankings and costumes which is new to Silent Hill 3, which enables you to wear up to twenty outfits making the game a little bit varied. Heather also has access to a machine gun.
The graphics I think are the best in the series because the characters look realistic, the designs, the backgrounds and the areas that she goes to. There is nothing bad about the graphics in all honesty.
The music was okay but some of it I didn't like. Most of the music fit the scenery very well. This definitely has to be the scariest Silent Hill in the series.
OVERALL: This game is the best Silent Hill, in my opinion, because the replay value makes you want to play through the game again and again. That's what I like about it.
