I got this when I had a 2.2ghz dual core athlon and it ran horribly. I now have 8gb RAM and a 3.6ghz phenom 955 it's only a slight improvement. Even GTA4 runs better than this game. I use a Geforce 9800GT btw. it's not bleeding edge but it should do the job IMO. Of course the game should run fine on lower settings but don't expect to max out unless you have specs better than mine (mainly in the GPU department).
The gameplay isn't impressive at all and sniping someone is nearly impossible to do unless you're mounted to an object. The whole zero-g concept is cool and all.. but not cool enough to make for good gameplay.
It's one of those games that you can't really take seriously as a game. It's more like Crysis and GTA4. You happily load them up everytime you upgrade to see how well your new setup can run a crappily coded game.
