Hack and slash yes-- Toga stealth through the capital = waste of time.

This could have been a great game if they left out all the crappy stealth parts out of it and added more arena beatings of cruelty and torture. I actually like this game because I got it for $15 when it came out. It was fun to chop off guys arms and then beat them with their lost apendages. It had class. But then the stealth missions jump back and fourth to complete the game and is really annoying. It's like watching Gilbert Gotfried in Black Hawk Down. There are some very hard parts in the game and you will get very frustrated and angry. The Roman soldiers yawn at their posts and will chase you during the stealth parts if you are caught, but hide for a bit and they go about their business as if matlock came back on TV. there is some chariot racing which is fun and there is a variety of death matches and arenas. The voice overs are annoying, and you might catch yourself yelling at your dog "Maceanus". There are some cool weapons, and pleasing the crowd with your hasty violence is a thrill, but the dude with the lion on his shoulder is kind of silly for Agrippa the main character. The Chariot guy with the Rose in his mouth belongs on You Tube crying about Britney Spears or the Rip Talor show. Trying to figure out signature moves is very hard and you will do it by mistake most of the time, but laying a beating on tigers, the brawny paper towel guy, and some of the other undesirables is kind of fun. The dialog of script is really bad but it's more about handing out beatings than listening to these people about their problems. As the late Caesar, would say "Let him die"
