It's Scramble! It's a simple side-scrolling shooter (perhaps one of the first) from like 1981. It's fun! Or maybe it's fun. If you've never played the game before, you'd best try out the trial version because it's primitive, fairly easy to beat, has virtually no replay value, and doesn't play well at all in an Xbox Live versus match. But you can't fault them for trying. Sometimes you need the simplicity of an old school game. I don't mean old school like Geometry Wars old school, because that's a manufactured retro look. This game is the real deal, when pioneer video game developers took months to develop this game and, hey, in those days if the game was good it didn't matter if it was just a few steps above Space Invaders, it was what it was. So if you're a nu-skooler and have no appreciation for the classics, or if you're older and never played this game or didn't like it back then, don't touch it. If you want the sort of XBL Arcade collection that makes you feel like it's 1980-83 and you're playing EXACTLY the same game that you did at the arcade, this is for you.
