you see the changes are kind of visible in Saw 2:flesh and blood compared to Saw, video game, but still i think it failed to go that extra mile, and im not saying its a bad game, but it is clear
that the budget was low.although the characters and the level design was pretty good also some lighting of certain levels was good enough, but it just didnt do as much good as it should have,i mean for example if we compared saw video games to the silent hill video games we can clearly see some similarity but saw lacks originality and the whole story line seems to be going no where, but we have to keep in mind that Saw movies are also made to fool you the way it does and doesnt really give a story line, now im in no place to say certain games shouldnt be made, thats wrong but from my point of view if by any chance a movie is gonna be turned into a video game,we must not forget that games and movies are two different things and some features that are good in movies might actually be boring if we have them on a game.seriously the game
needs to bring originality other wise if this is the path of Saw Video games,it has no chance of selling the next title.no chance what so ever.
i bought this game thinking it has improved reasonably, but as i saw this, it has not improved atall.
lets get to details now,ok when you start the game it is just like the last title and you really dont see any new features until you get to your first fight, yes the fighting style has changed, you no
more need to fight you only need to press the exact button at the right time, thats it!isnt that wrong i mean forget the improvement in fighting, this is even worse than the fighting in the last saw
game.the graphics to some aspect seems to be better but rather animation of characters are still the same thing and boring, the voices are no where near professional, how ever as a saw fan i just love to hear the voice if Jigsaw(tobin bell),so what ,what about those who are not fans what will they think of spending money on this?as i was saying the graphic is OK but as you
progress in the game, you will see that the wall textures just start to get worse, until it is just horrible.the main story of saw 2 isnt pleasing at all.the variety of puzzles that you can do is more
in SAW2,and i can tell you that there are two types of puzzles here, one is the side mission like puzzle that you can solve to get the collectibles and the other one is the main game puzzles, there
is no way to tell which is for what but you can understand which one is the main puzzle.a new feature that is brought to saw 2 is the opening of the locked doors with a nail, that brings up a
certain cylinders that spin on their axis and you have the control the first person camera plus you need to go through the cylinders from their opening and you can sometimes slow things up since some locks are harder than others.im still speechless as to why are we making these puzzles when the game has real problems and issues.i mean which gamers like to finish a game a end up thinking they waisted their time on that game, exactly, nobody likes that and this game sadly offers this in the end.lets be fare here there are a lot of puzzles and things maybe people like to solved but in that case there are other puzzle games that offer such gameplay without the issues saw 2 brings on the table.it is clear the saw team are trying to stand up in the games market but they must know that a lot of better games are actually dominating the market and the game industry isnt a place were anygame can stand up.if they really want to get their games appreciated by gamers, they must come up with better features that is more amusing to the audience, not anything like saw2 and saw1 video game ,TBH i think they should stop with saw video games,if its gonna be like this.thanks for reading
