Yes, the combat can be repetitive, and yes, constantly seeing the same enemies can be a little irritating, but it didn't stop me from enjoying this stunning thrill ride. It feels like playing through a big Hollywood blockbuster. Combined with the best visuals of any console game ever made, an original score that can rival anything in the theaters today, and excellent voice acting, this game is not to be missed if you are a fan of stories from ancient Rome like I am.
If I have one complaint, it is that the game is not made for longevity. As I said earlier, the game is more like a playable movie than a game, and for that reason I can't recommend anyone paying full price for it. Wait until it's down to at least $30us before picking it up.
