Rome Total War was the first game from the total war franchise that i have had the pleasure of playing. Now thanks to it i have gone on to buy each of the sucessing games in the legendary line of epic war games. Anyone who has any sort of interest in roman history or warfare has already played this game, but to those who are afriad or simply dont know of its existance i would put this game on your things to do before you die list. The wide variety of options to play in Rome Total War will surely keep you occupied for the forseeable future while still keeping the excitement you felt when you first had aspirations of destroying the gauls or taking over the mighty city of Rome itself with legions of cohorts, archers, seige weapons and a breath takingly large array of exotic mearenary troops from all over the world so you can fight in style.
