Rome total war score:10

User Rating: 9.5 | Rome: Total War PC
Rome:total war is a superb game while comparing with its predecessor. It combines real time strategy with turn based gaming. It has got a real time battle mechanism which makes us feel to be a general in an epic battle. Its turn based campaign map is also interesting with micro level management-to move your army along the map or your agents and managing the town to increase income or to train soldiers.
In the imperial campaign option we start with one of the roman family:the Ju lii,the Sci pii and the Bru tii. These families are initially under the roman senate. The Ju lii family is provided with mission to expand the roman empire towards the north, fighting the Gauls. The Sci pii and the Bru tii need to extend the empire towards south-east and south-west,fighting the Greeks and the Carthage. I used to play with the Ju lii family. As they all belongs to Rome they don't have unique units but their objectives given by the senate will be different. At first each faction is given two settlement. We need to expand our empire by suppressing the rivals, diplomacy, trade and using spies and assassins. The AI of the game is so excellent that they find our weak points. We should carefully watch their movements so as to avoid a sudden attack. One interesting fact in the game is that once we show no respect to our words the further dealings with other factions will be difficult.
