Pretty fun, just no real storyline..

Romancing SaGa is a good game, just the lack of storyline and plot to follow can throw you off.. I am stuck in it right now because I have nowhere to go. But, I love that game so much because it has literally infinite party combination possibilities. You have 8 main characters, and tons of random people willing to join you! That is just awesome, since I absolutely abhor the games, like Final Fantasy, that just have like, 6 main characters, and can only play as the one main character. But I still love my Final Fantasy! The graphics of this game are sub par, but aren't the worst thing in the world, since I personally do not really care for the graphics, but more for the game play. The game play, as was expected, i s awesome since you can have 5 people in a fight, and tons of stuff to do in fights, like combining attacks, so on so forth... Anyways, on to the "Pro's and Con's" List!:

Pro's: Awesome game play, infinite party combo's, many areas to go and see, ton's of enemies, fun characters, plenty of action for those who like bigger Final Fantasy-esque battle's, and every single person IN THE GAME talks! That is a first for almost any game!

Con's: Almost to no storyline to follow whatsoever, total and complete freedom, which in most cases is good, but in a game from Square Enix, its bad, graphics, for 2005, are pretty downgraded, especially from Kingdom Heart's 2 next-gen like graphics, to Final Fantasy 9 Graphics, they made it seem like the producer had a bit of budget leftover from Kingdom Heart's 2 and felt like using it up. The voice acting is not all that great, but is to be expected since everyone in the game talks.

Romancing SaGa is a great game overall, but just is no fun with no storyline, I feel that Square Enix could do MUCH better and make improvements, but it is still a good game, and even though I do not recommend buying it, I still do recommend at least borrowing it or renting it from somewhere.

Finally, Romancing SaGa on a scale of 1-10, gets a 6.5/10, for sub par graphics, no storyline, and not great voice over being the bad, and infinite combo's, awesome game play, and big Final Fantasy like battle's being the good.
