Koei makes each one different, and I love that. Even characters change, for example. Lu bu started with worse stats except for war in 1, 2, and 3. He would betray easily and that was hilarious. Cao Bao is by far the most pathetic. My personal favorites of RTK in order are 7, 8, 10, 4, and 3. The others were okay compared in the series and 6 to me was the worst. I always like to start under lesser known, not Wu Wei or Shu. My preference of time period is around 193. Once I get the hang of the game, I go for being leader. Sometimes I start from scratch as a Ronin and challenge myself. Shape the game to what is best for you. As all RTK, X can be played again and again!
