This was the first game i played on my ps, and i still play it 6-7 years on. it has a great pick up and play factor, and also has goood sfx. opponents are just the right difficulty, you can beat them, if you try hard enough.

Multiplayer is where this game shines. Several times i have setup a 99 lap race and just raced a friend for an hour or more. And there is a battle mose, where you use powerups to score points by damaging each other.

this game is underappreciated by gamespot, and i usually agree with the "we say"ratings, but this time i just cant.
