Many people hated this, but I actually enjoyed the game.

Rocket Power: Beach Bandits is a totally underrated and underappreciated game. I actually liked it, even though the game was quite easy to beat.

The game is about when the Rocket Power gang is out for summer vacation. When they get ready to surf, they find out all the sand is missing. Soon, they find out a real estate agent by the name of Eric Golem has stolen the sand and buying Ocean Shores' businesses. Most of the townspeople are okay with him, but the Rocket Power team thinks he's fishy. They then set off on an epic adventure to find the missing sand and defeat Golem Industries before summer is over.

Beach Bandits plays out like an adventure game in a way. You basically go to these different people and do missions for them. There are also some missions that require stealth, taking pictures, platforming, sports, and aiming skills, so the game doesn't get boring quickly.

There really isn't any reason to play through the main story mode since you can just go to Cheats, answer some Rocket Power questions, and you get all the levels. Unless you want to see the cutscenes, don't really waste your time trying to beat it. Plus, the game isn't very challenging. The only really hard mission is the last one.

In order to get you to play the main story mode, Nick Games and THQ hid some full length Rocket Power episodes once you've beaten the game. There is also multiplayer, but it's just to see who can rack up the most points on a skateboard.

The graphics in this game look pretty good....for the main characters/villains. Pedestrian models are recycled throughout the whole thing. The only enemies in the game are robots, so more variety could've helped this out a whole lot. The characters also smile through the whole thing, even if they're serious.

The music in this game is surprisingly good, but it can get annoying after a little while. The character voices are very good, since the actors from the Nick television show voiced them in the game.

All in all, Rocket Power: Beach Bandits is a good kids game. While it does have some flaws that could've been fixed, the game was pretty decent nonetheless.
