A new experience worth the price

User Rating: 9 | Rock Band Unplugged PSP
I decieded to pick up a PSP after hearing of this game and the new MGS game after the Sony E3 conferences. I went to the store and saw the bundle so i was like "what the hell, its probably worth the extra 45 dollars." oh but it is and more.

Graphics (9/10) 10% of grade
I wasn't expected much out of this game graphically but wow, it doesnt look blocky or choppy with the instruments and people.

Gameplay (38/40) 40% of grade
When I heard about this game, I was in doubt of playing 4 instruments, so I tried it in store (EB games or gamestop for you americans :] ) and I liked how you play a seperate instrument until you pass a "phrase" and then move on to another but sometimes the button tracking is laggy.

Sound/Music (20/20) 20% of grade
A music game is not a music game without music, and the music in this game is recognizable (e.g. Livin' on A Prayer by Bon Jovi, my personal fav ;] ) or very catchy over time (e.g. Where'd You Go?, another fav) and the use of the missed note sounds kept me playing.

Online Abilities (0/10) 10% of grade
There is none, very disappointing :(

Replay Value (18/20) 20% of grade
There are multiple reasons to keep playing this game (story mode, the various game types, DLC, etc.) and 2 small reasons why not which are the button tracking lag and no online, a feature that keeps me hooked when I feel bored of 1 person.

Overall (85/100)
According to rounding up or down, I would round up 90.

This game is a great game for traveling and keeping your little rockstar busy :) and its DLC may be basic now but I hear good things about it so I would invest in this game if were any PSP owner and if you are wondering about buying a PSP, this is a good reason to buy one. Cheers.
