I've played rock band for weeks...straight...and it's awesome. The song list is very well selected although a few extra (free) ones could have been added. About songs...some can be bought from the website. I haven't downloaded any because I'm not interested, but the song they offer are pretty good.

The good:
-Nice graphics and sound design.
-Good selection of items to customize the band.
-Good selection of songs.
-Will keep you playing even if you fail.
-Easy, pick-up and play game.
-Very easy learning curve for experienced players, but easy enough for new -comers.
-The ability to modify the game (make all songs available, no fail cheat, no solo cheat) can be used at any time which makes the game a lot of fun.
-Switching between instruments can make for a very chaotic yet fun gameplay.

The Bad:
-A few bugs when switching can get in the way.
-Only 41 songs, but they are all good.
-Some of the harder, faster button mashing parts will make your hand numb and the shaking caused will make it harder to see the notes properly.

So, Rock Band Unplugged is a must-play. A very well done game with some really nice features. But it still leaves something to be hand. Maybe multiplayer and microphone support would have made this game even better...a sequel maybe?
