Great game for the PSP.

Rock Band Unplugged looked really stupid to me at first. But then,I saw that there was a lite version of the game for download on the Playstation Store. So,I tried it,and I couldn't have been happier.Rock Band delivers lots of fun and challenging songs to play on the go.Now,I bought the lite version,so I didn't have very many songs to begin with(about four). This led to getting sick of the songs because you played them over and over again in career.I did end up downloading a bunch of songs to expand my library, and it made career a lot more bearable.
What's interesting about Unplugged,is that you play all the instruments. Here's how it works.
There are little bars indicating a phrase. You have to hit all the notes in that phrase,or it gets longer, and you spend more time on that instrument. After hitting all the notes in the phrase, the instruments plays itself for a little bit,and you play the other instruments. This sounds pretty easy, but gets very difficult.
After a couple of days,I got a lot better, and it became easier for me to manage overall.
Another nice feature is that you get to make your own band. You can choose the logo, name, and you can even customize every band member.Although, you can only have four members. No more,no less. Now through career, you play various venues(very well designed,I might add),and you play songs,as you may have guessed.Doing this gives money and more fans, failing a song, loses fans.If you do well in a specific event, you can hire a new staff member. These staff members might be fans who make signs and announce concerts to raise the fan base.Or,you might have someone who makes merchandise, earning you more money. This feature makes the game a little more personal, and you feel like you're managing your own band.
The music store in this game is great. If you want some more songs, you can download them with your Playstation Store account. This allows you to play more songs that you like during career, which is pretty cool.
Overall,I think this game is great for all fans of the rhythm game genre, and I definitely recommend it to my friends.
