Stereotypical JRPG but some nice touches

Thought I would give this a try considering it was very cheap on PSN.

Not a bad little game if yo want something very chilled out. Basically, you don't have a great deal of control over the game so it playes itself. Battles and exploration are limited and not particularly extensive or tactical. But nice nonetheless.

Visuals are charming, music is lovely and the characters are likeable, but very stereotypical, with the typical innocent, girly boy protagonist, surrounded by four stereotypical female character types: the wise one, the bouncy one, the boisturous one and the mysterious one. All of whom want his babies. Yawn. cough tenchi muyo cough.

The fact that you cannot backtrack is also a nuisance if you want to collect all the secrets. So you had better be prepared to play through it all, again! (which I couldnt be bothered to do)

If you like anime and simplicity, then this is for you. Otherwise, steer clear.
