Rhem 2 is the best puzzle adventure I've played since the end of the Myst Series (and I write this in September 2007).

If you're looking for storyline in a game, this is not the game for you. If you're looking for a stunning visuals, this game is also not for you. If you're looking for a vast area to explore and a challenging set of puzzles, then you've found your ideal at last.

The puzzles in Rhem 2 are excellent! They range from simple math to unit conversions, switch settings, mazes (two very creative ones!), pattern correlation, and sometimes just painful amounts of observation. While the graphics may not amaze you, they do blend with the environment very well, and clues generally stand out if you're looking for them. I filled 14 pages of a notebook with data collected, not knowing how to apply most of it at first (and some proved useless, though not very much).

Until another Myst series is born, Rhem 2 will reign.
