Rhapsody makes a comeback for the DS.
Cornet doesn't have to go on her adventure alone; she gets many allies along the way. Those allies are puppets. You gain puppets by playing Cornet's horn when near them to recruit them. The battle system is simple. Cornet and her allies fight a number of enemies, and earn experience when they win, which levels them up.
The graphics of Rhapsody are sub-par for what the DS is capable of, but they can be overlooked because of how addicting the game is. It can also be easily overlooked because of the beautiful songs and music of Rhapsody. Not many games can compare to the sound quality of Rhapsody, which is one of the better parts of this game.
In the American version of Rhapsody DS, there isn't really any special content, unfortunately. Oh well, the remake basically meets expectations, bar the lack of extra content.
In conclusion, Rhapsody DS is an addicting game, and good for those who played the original Rhapsody and wanted more of it. It's also a good play for those who didn't play the original.
