A terribly underated game that is hilarious and emotionally moving.

This is the first video game review i have ever written and it is because i saw alot of unjust reviews for it. First off, this game is hilarious. Its a giant plus too if you love anime, like me (the quality kind.) The title says it is a "Musical Adventure" but i only recall about 5 or 6 songs and the game isnt so much about music (no musical puzzles or anything like that). The songs in japanese are done perfectly and although i dont like pop music, i enjoyed it. Being a music poducer, i also have to say the English singers did good as well even though they had to eq their vocals to the song and not the other way around. Usually there is a complete mixdown during the post production of a song where every sound is fitted to eachother. So even though the english vocals did not have this luxury and also did not have as much fx processing, they did well.

I just got into RPG's with the completion of FFVII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, dragonquest viii and i am pretty sure i have a feeling for what makes a great rpg game. It is emotional moments, story, humor, flow of events (not being left wondering what to do), and battle system. Rhapsody has all of this. The only thing they did wrong for the USA release is that they forgot to subtitle the japanese lyrics with english. I'm pretty sure that if you can read and understand japanese you can also understand it when it is spoken, so no need to have japanese subs on japanese voices.

Another great thing is that this game is good for anyone. I am a 23 year old male and had no problem playing a young girl who seeks out a prince. I also think kids will love this game too. An awesome feature for them youngins is the ability to choose difficulty modes, something i havent yet seen in an RPG.
