Neo Cherry Master Color Review

If you're really - and I mean really into slot machines, this little time waster may be just the thing for elevator rides, traffic jams, or waiting in line to get a haircut.

Game Boy Color owners may sometimes brag about things like Pokemon, or the fact that the Game Boy has been around for like a decade - but did their system launch with three shallow casino games? That's right, now it's your turn to brag! OK, maybe not. Yes, the Neo Geo Pocket Color launched with three casino games. One, Neo Dragon's Wild, is a video poker game that at least provides some interactivity. The other two, Neo Mystery Bonus, and this game, Neo Cherry Master Color, are slot machine games. Not collections of different types of slots. Not gambling RPGs where you have to earn money playing slots. Just one slot per cart - and boring slots, at that.

Cherry Master has a lot of different little bonus games, but all they really do is change what symbols appear on the reels, and alter the payoff scale a bit. Much like the real thing, this one-armed bandit simulation only requires one arm - just occasionally hit the A button and watch the "fun."

If you're really - and I mean really into slot machines, this little time waster may be just the thing for elevator rides, traffic jams, or waiting in line to get a haircut. You can turn it on, play it until you get bored (usually ten minutes or less), and move on with your life.
