I play RPG's for the story first. Unfortunately for this game, although it does have a very deep, satisfying combat system, the story is just downright poor and characters are extremely shallow. Also I just thought that the "dungeons"were plain uninspired, along with the art direction.
Very dissapointed in this game and I expected more from Tri-ace in this generation, but although the game is not a total loss, I found the tedium too much to bare.
The graphics are pretty basic and everywhere just looks the same, which seems to shout out laziness in all departments, especially the sound deparment. The music is annoying as hell and repetitve and the voices are cheesy.
If you really feel like playing it, buy it, as it is fairly cheap nowadays, but be warned, it's 20% fun and 80% monotony.
