Resistance: Fall Of Man is a great first-person shooter, and one of the PS3's best launch titles.

The first game to ever enter my PS3 was Resistance: Fall Of Man.Right from the start I knew I would be in for a great time.To start this review off,I'll talk about the visuals/graphics.I wasn't to impressed compared to other games on the PS3,but the graphics are still very good with the great details which look pretty Impressive on the Chimera's facial features and model. The environments are also pretty linear, you'll go through the played-out empty neighborhoods ,homes, and towns to Chimera Towers and bases which are pretty cool to explore.

Now here comes my thoughts on the sound. The music for Resistance is pretty eerie which makes the games atmosphere a bit frightening as you'll be walking in a quiet street or area, then all of a sudden Chimera pop out! You'll be in the heat of battle in less than seconds with music that will have your heart pumping.

Resistance's story is quite interesting."Supposedly" instead of WW2,the Chimera attacked the eastern continents, and over took if my memory serves me correctly, all of Asia and Europe. So the British and American armies team up to halt the Fall Of Man!The games campaign is relatively lengthy, and you can play it all over again for a second time with a friend which does add some replay-value for it.

So the final topic I'll cover about Resistance would be the Game-Play.So what exactly do you do in Resistance your asking?Well its simple, shoot allot of Chimera and have fun while you do it.Your given an assortment of weapons that can rage from snipers, rifles,a shotgun,Chimera weaponry, and grenades and rocket launchers.Overall there's a total of about 10 guns at your disposal.

Now to cover my final-thoughts.Well over all,Insomniac's done a tremendously great job in creating one of the most successful PS3 launch titles, and for that I thank them for this enjoyable game.Resistance: Fall Of Man is a relatively inexpensive game, that is usually sold for about $30.So if you got thirty dollars to spend on a game,I would recommend you give Resistance: Fall Of Man a go.
